Villa Havula was born from a love for tradition and a desire to share a piece of Lapland's peace. 🏠 I have fully renovated my former family home for accommodation, while preserving its unique soul. My business also includes activity services and my own flower and handicraft boutique.
About the Entrepreneur
I am Paula Erkkilä, and I founded Villa Havula in 2016 in my hometown of Ranua, Southern Lapland. Villa Havula began with my own home, which we renovated for accommodation. In 2017, I introduced activity services, which I primarily provide at the Ranua Wildlife Park, and in 2018, I opened a flower and handicraft shop in the center of Ranua. Creativity, freedom, and customer service have always been important to me – as an entrepreneur, no two days are the same.
Inspired by Nature
In my work as a florist, I use many natural materials. You might see me in the forest gathering pine cones, moss, or spruce twigs – nature inspires me all year round. Years of experience have taught me to listen to customers' wishes, and the best feedback is a customer who trusts my expertise and returns again and again.
From Architectural Drafter to Entrepreneur
I originally graduated as an architectural drafter, but in 1994, I moved into floristry. Since then, I have furthered my expertise as a Master Florist and a Gardener, and I also create custom garden designs. Previously, I ran my own flower shop in Rovaniemi and participated in snow and ice sculpting courses, where we created spectacular floral art from ice and snow.
I warmly welcome you to explore my services – see you soon at Villa Havula!
Best regards, Paula
